Dukan Diet Plan
The Dukan diet plan has recently gained a lot of notoriety and popularity as it was rumored that this is the diet that Kate Middleton followed prior to her marriage to Prince William. She looked gorgeous and refined at her wedding and this sent every person into a craze trying to emulate her weight loss plan for themselves. This diet consists of four steps that a person takes and it will lead to significant weight loss and can help in permanent weight loss as well.
The first phase of the diet is known as the attack phase. As a parameter of this phase, an individual will have to consume a significant amount of protein. There is a list provided of acceptable protein based foods that a person can eat during this phase of the Dukan diet.
The second phase of the diet is called the cruise phase and during this phase an individual will introduce vegetables to their diet in addition to the protein, which is eaten during the previous phase one of the diet.
The third phase of the diet is known as the consolidation time. This is where a person begins the process of easing back into a normal diet gradually so as to not gain all the weight that was lost back. A person will begin to slowly introduce forbidden foods back into their diet, but in moderate portions.
The fourth and last stage is the one that a person optimally will stay on permanently so that the diet has a lasting effect. This is where a person completely changes his or her diet so that they will maintain the weight loss and healthy diet that was obtained throughout the process of the Dukan diet.
